Gaza Timber

Gaza Timber is a local timber merchant in Kent, in the south of England. The site was a marketing tool for the company, showing current stocked products, special deals, etc.

The brief for Gaza was to rebuild an existing static site, using the existing design, in order to add multi-user content editing and updating facilities. Users could now post and edit product content, update images and create image slideshows on the front page. The site did not include a shop - no merchandise was sold online.

Astonishingly, less than a year after launching the site, the client (who seemed delighted with our work at the time) had the entire thing rebuilt by someone else with identical functionality and an inferior design. Go figure! Had we anticipated such an unexpected turn of events, we would have taken some screenshots of "our" site to attach here. Alas, you will have to take our word for it and make do with the sigle image of the header and navigation above.
